  1. 'You started to dream a bit'

    Man City 4-1 Port Vale

Port Vale manager John Askey speaks to BBC Sport: "I thought the team were fantastic. I am obviously really proud of them. You thought going into half time it was going to be one each and you have to pinch yourself a bit.

"I was worried before the games that teams have come here and got annihilated.

"When our goal went in you started to dream a little bit."

  2. 'I knew it would be ruled out'

    Wolverhampton Wanderers 0-0 Manchester United

Wolves defender Matt Doherty: "We restricted them, I don't know how many shots they had but we're still in the draw.

"It was an unbelievable save from my shot, I was shocked he made that but he plays for Manchester United so I guess he's going to be good. It just hit him more than anything.

"The header went in off my arm, I knew straight away it would be ruled out. It went against us but that's what the technology is for, I can't really complain.

"We have played nearly a whole season already - 36 games - but we are adults and won't complain."

  3. 'Straight to penalties'

    Wolves 0-0 Man Utd

    Simon Stone

    BBC Sport at Molineux

Wolves manager Nuno Espirito Santo says his side are 'ready' for the replay but admitted he wished the tie had gone straight to penalties.

    Wolves

More from Nuno Espirito Santo: "I have to respect the players and give them time to recover but my players love to play.

"This is our life. Another game is OK, we are used to it. It is a tough schedule but we will play there."

  5. 'I'd have been happy with a few touches'

    Man City 4-1 Port Vale

    Tom Pope

Port Vale striker Tom Pope, who briefly drew his side level at 1-1, speaks to BBC Sport: "It was good for about five minutes until they got the second. It's always good and when it's an equaliser you believe for a bit and then they knock the stuffing out of you.

"I never dreamed I would score and would have been happy to have a few touches."

Did you swap any shirts? "I managed to get Zinchenko's - the rest of them pied me off."

SMS Message: The answer to the replay dilemma is simple. Let the 2 teams agree beforehand whether they want a replay or not. If they don't then it's extra time and pens. 2 Premier League clubs like Wolves and Man U, both in the Europa League, could decide to finish it on the day. A tie with a lower league team might head for a replay. from Matt, Sheffield

    Simon Stone

    BBC Sport at Molineux

Between 1 December and 1 February, when they play Wolves in the Premier League at Old Trafford, Manchester United will have played 18 games, or 19 if they do eventually make it into the fourth round.

    That's quite a lot.

  10. 'We wanted to solve it today'

    Wolverhampton Wanderers 0-0 Manchester United

    Wolves

    NUno

Wolves manager Nuno Esperito Santo: "It was a tough game, we had moments of quality but it wasn't easy. We were better in the second half and dominated possession against a very difficult team. There was not many spaces.

"It was about managing the squad. In the second half we had better knowledge of the game and controlled it better. We wanted to win, to solve the situation today.

"We have a very tight schedule. We want the game, we want to play. Now we have a week to recover and then we go."

    FT: Leicester 2-0 Wigan

    Andy Reid

Ex-Nottingham Forest and Tottenham midfielder on BBC Radio 5 live

Thoroughly professional job by Leicester today and they went about the performance in the right way. Wigan didn't do themselves any disservice at all, they worked hard and had a good shape but they never really had the quality to threaten Leicester. It was the performance we expected from Leicester but unlucky for Wigan.

James Ballantyne: Watched the whole of the second half, United have no-one who can give Greenwood the ball.

Jon: Will take that, good to get a clean sheet but so so poor at the other end. Even second XIs under Fergie had something about them. Badly need some creativity this month.

Osama Khalid: How can a top team go through a whole match without hitting the target? Unbelievable

  14. It could have been different...

    Bournemouth 4-0 Luton Town

Had Luton scored this penalty. It would have been 1-1 at the break.

    Leicester 2-0 Wigan

    Andy Reid

Ex-Nottingham Forest and Tottenham midfielder on BBC Radio 5 live

I can't see anyone displacing Leicester out of the top four and they should finish second in the league. I like watching the football they play - the change between the front players is good and the midfielders are very, very strong. They are a joy to watch.

  16. FULL-TIME

    Leicester 2-0 Wigan

Leicester bounce into their League Cup semi-final against Aston Villa nicely. They have hope in two cup competitions and sit in second-place in the league.

Things look sweet for the Foxes.
