Solar eclipse 2021: Eclipse lights up sky

Some lucky early risers in parts of the northern hemisphere were met with a halo like sunrise early on Thursday morning.

The annular solar eclipse, also known as a ‘ring of fire’ eclipse, happens when the moon moves between the earth and the sun.
