Freddie Sears: Ipswich Town striker out for up to 12 months with knee injury

Ipswich Town's top scorer Freddie Sears will be out for up to a year after suffering a cruciate knee ligament injury in their derby loss to Norwich.
The striker, 29, was replaced after a tackle with Tom Trybull and faces at least nine months on the sidelines.
Sears has six Championship goals in 24 games this season, with Ipswich five points adrift at the bottom.
"I'm obviously devastated but I want to thank the fans for their support," said the former West Ham player.
Ipswich physio Matt Byard said: "He will see a specialist later this week who will determine the timeframe but it's likely that surgery will take place in the next two weeks.
"We will know more from the specialist but with this type of injury, you are looking at nine to 12 months recovery."
