Mariella Frostrup

Week Three

Mariella is a journalist and broadcaster. Over a career spanning 25 years she has hosted a variety of programmes from film to books to current affairs. As a respected arts critic, she has sat on the judging panel for numerous awards, including The London Film Awards and The Booker Prize. Mariella currently presents the long running Open Book series for Radio Four plus writes a weekly Dilemma column for The Observer.

Her favourite films are Apocalypse Now and My Life As a Dog

If she had to cast someone to play her in a movie of her life it would be Naomi Watts because she's severely underrated and one of the few Hollywood actresses ageing gracefully.
