The hunt continues in this third week of heats as five new celebrities take on the challenge to become the Celebrity MasterChef champion. Trying to impress judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace this week are radio and TV presenter Rickie Haywood-Williams, legendary Motown singer Martha Reeves, Olympic long jumper Greg Rutherford MBE, actor Elizabeth Bourgine and heavyweight boxer Dillian Whyte.

In the invention test they are each given a mincer and a burger press and challenged to make a burger and fries of their own design, choosing from ingredients including tuna, mackerel, beef chuck, pork belly, lamb shoulder and turkey breast. The celebrities are then split into two groups to take on the challenge of cooking for the first time in a restaurant kitchen, preparing dishes for paying customers. Rickie, Dillian and Elizabeth head to Bokan, a modern European restaurant in London’s Canary Wharf, while Greg and Martha are sent to Kricket, which specializes in contemporary Indian cuisine. Then it’s back to the MasterChef kitchen to prepare dishes of their own design in just one hour.
