Extent of injuries unclear- Townsend

Gregor Townsend wasn't sure about the extent of the injuries to Jonny Gray, Ben Toolis, Blair Kinghorn, Jamie Ritchie and Blade Thomson: "We had two players with head injuries and they didn't come back on, they'll go through the normal concussion protocols. A couple of guys had tight hamstrings. Jamie Ritchie's going to the hospital for a scan later tonight, so that's five players in a match so there will be quite a lot to look at over the next few days."

Scotland head coach Gregor Townsend has been speaking on Sportsound: "This week we weren't as accurate and they had more opportunities to show what they could do. They showed a more varied game today. It was pleasing that we did put things right later on in the game and finishing with a couple of tires made it a nicer win than it probably was.
On the performances of Sam Johnson and Duncan Taylor, he said: "On first viewing I think they got involved in attack and worked hard in defence. The pleasing thing ins Duncan managed 80 minutes. I'm sure when I see his GPS stats tomorrow they'll be through the roof as they usually are."

We've been hearing a lot about another Cummings in the news recently, but 22-year-old Scott Cummings is growing into a Test player by the week.
Having only made his debut two-and-a-half weeks ago he continues to go from strength to strength. Mobile around the pitch, quick and powerful, he reminds me of, dare I say it, Richie Gray.
