LA Rams made it three wins from four, seeing off Chicago Bears 17-7 at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

  4. Best of the late games

The New England Patriots were made to work hard on a cold and windy night in Philadelphia but - unsurprisingly - came through to win 17-10.

Defences were well on top on a night when wide receiver Julian Edelman threw more touchdown passes than Tom Brady...

Joining the Pats on a 9-1 record are the San Francisco 49ers, who needed a Jeff Wilson touchdown with 31 seconds left to finally see off the Arizona Cardinals.

Can the Niners win the Super Bowl this year? It was way back in 1994 they won their last title...

  5. Early games round-up

Drew Brees threw three touchdown passes as the New Orleans Saints recorded four interceptions in a 34-17 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Saints improved to 8-2 a week after a surprise 26-9 loss to the Atlanta Falcons, who continued their revival with a 29-3 win at the Carolina Panthers.

The Buffalo Bills went 7-3 with a 37-20 win at the Miami Dolphins while the New York Jets enjoyed a second straight victory, beating Washington Redskins 34-17. Quarterback Jacoby Brissett returned from injury to help the Indianapolis Colts to a 33-13 home win against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Baltimore Ravens' defence dominated against the Houston Texans while Lamar Jackson enhanced his potential MVP status during a 41-7 home win.

Billed as a match-up between two of the league's most exciting young quarterbacks, Jackson, 22, outshone Deshaun Watson as he passed for four touchdowns and 222 yards, plus rushed for another 86.

The Ravens took charge after a scoreless first quarter, with Mark Ingram scoring two TD's before the Texans claimed a late consolation.

Watson, 24, was sacked six times, gave up one interception and a fumble as Baltimore extended the league's longest winning streak to six and went 8-2 overall.

Dan Nixon: This could be a landmark victory for the 49ers today. 16-0 down, at home, coming off a 1st loss, a number of key injuries & playing poorly but manage to drag themselves to a possibly undeserved win. This could be setting up for something special.

  9. Post update

FT: Philadelphia Eagles 10-17 New England Patriots

Carson Wentz scrambles just inside the Philly half till he has space to let one go. It's going to drop about 10 yards short of the end zone, there's plenty of bodies under it...and the Pats pat it down.

Game over. Last season's Super Bowl winners are back to winning ways after the Baltimore Ravens ended their unbeaten start two weeks back.

  10. Post update

Philadelphia Eagles 10-17 New England Patriots

Carson Wentz finds Zach Ertz for 21 yards and he spikes it to stop the clock with two seconds left. Hail Mary here we come.

  11. Post update

Philadelphia Eagles 10-17 New England Patriots

Carson Wentz launches it up the middle. Jason Kelce can't take it in but he's clattered by Terrence Brooks moments later and the Patriot is penalised for unnecessary roughness - 15 yards and first down for the Eagles.

  12. Post update

Philadelphia Eagles 10-17 New England Patriots

New England go three-and-out before punting to Philadelphia's 12-yard line. There's 34 seconds left, will they get one more try?

  13. Agonising for Eagles

Philadelphia Eagles 10-17 New England Patriots

Carson Wentz will be kicking himself. Zach Ertz is wide open but it's a poor throw. Too low.

He has to go for it on 4th & 10 and the Pats' defence has gone cover zero - they're leaving no-one back.

Wentz back-pedals then launches it to the back of the end zone. Agholor dives for it but the ball bounces off his fingertips and out of bounds. So near...yet so far.

  14. Murray = Mint

FT: San Francisco 49ers 36-26 Arizona Cardinals

Kyler Murray was on the losing side tonight but he played brilliantly again. The number one pick is some talent.

  15. Post update

Philadelphia Eagles 10-17 New England Patriots

Now that's woken the crowd up. Wentz finds Nelson Agholor for 19 yards and a new set of downs. The Eagles are up to New England's 26-yard line.

  16. BreakingRaiders win it

FT: Oakland Raiders 17-10 Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals are 0-10 for the second time in their history. They are officially out of play-off contention, the first team this year to be out...

  17. Post update

Philadelphia Eagles 10-17 New England Patriots

Side-arm throw by Carson Wentz to Dallas Goedert for 10 yards. The Eagles are into New England territory right before the two-minute warning. They've upped the tempo. Is it too little too late though?

  18. Intercepted!

    Oakland Raiders 17-10 Cincinnati Bengals

Ryan Finley needs a touchdown to get his side back level, he's looking for a miracle downfield and chucks an interception instead. Rookie error.

  19. BreakingNiners win!

FT: San Francisco 49ers 36-26 Arizona Cardinals

    49ers

What a scruffy end to the game! The Cardinals pass the ball backwards trying to set up a hail Mary attempt, the ball is missed, muffed, and the 49ers return it for a touchdown! Makes the final winning margin more comfortable.

A big win for the 49ers, their ninth of the season.

  20. Post update

Philadelphia Eagles 10-17 New England Patriots

Carson Wentz has to scramble in his own end zone and is almost tripped but manages to fire one off to JJ Arcega-Whiteside for a 29-yard gain. That's moved the chains.
