  14. 'This is Murray's last option'

Bob Bryan: "Andy has been watching me like a hawk, asking me how I feel after matches and whether this procedure is an option but singles is a different monster.

"Who knows if this joint will hold up? Will you have the explosiveness to be quick on the singles court? If you don't have that, you'll be exposed.

"I am not 100% yet but it's only five months since the operation so I can't give you a guarantee but this is his last option. I think he'll have the surgery and think he can come back but there's no evidence and you never know.

"He's such a good guy I am happy to support him."
