Another news flash from Burnley, who are now apparently in talks with Derby over a possible deal that will see the Clarets sign Matej Vydra and Nahki Wells head in the other direction.

According to Sky Sports both players are set to do medicals at their respective potential new clubs later on Tuesday.

However, if a deal is completed, then Vydra would join Burnley on a permanent deal, but Wells would only join Derby on loan.

That's the Vydra that received the Championship Golden Boot last term, after scoring 21 goals for the Rams.

Cardiff City are reportedly considering a late move for Tom Huddlestone.

The 31-year old returned to Derby County last summer.

Cardiff boss Neil Warnock is interested in adding players with previous PremierLeague experience.

It may be difficult for Derby to deny Huddlestone a move back to the top flight.

The season hasn't even begun and Newcastle players are already revolting.

Magpies players are refusing to co-operate with TV interviews and other media commitments due to a pay row with club owner Mike Ashley.

The dispute concerns player bonuses, and has resulted in the squad refusing to carry out post-match interviews after two recent pre-season friendly defeats.

But after the Braga defeat, Newcastle manager Rafael Benitez said the club's fans "need to be concerned".

Newcastle start their Premier League campaign at home to Spurs on Saturday.

Everybody talks about the team ethos at Burnley don't they. You know the saying, 'there's no I team' and all that.

And new boy Joe Hart is no exception despite only recently arriving at the Clarets Barnfield training centre.

"They say it's priceless but to be part of a team where everyone is pushing in the same direction is not as normal as you would expect it to be," he said.

"I heard that was the vibe and I've come here first day, and you can just see it. It just stinks of it. Everyone wants to play for each other, everyone wants to win and everyone wants to do their best."

Right time for a few lines from Joe Hart who joined Burnley from Manchester City earlier on in a two-year deal for a fee in the region of £3.5m.

"They (Manchester City) are doing fantastic and I'm very happy for them," he said.

"They need to go on and do their thing and I need to do mine.

"I feel like I'm in the right place and I feel like this is my time to kick on now. Everything has really impressed me. I've heard such good things about the atmosphere."

Now if reports are to be believed in Uruguay, Luis Suarez played a "decisive" part in the transfer of his international teammate Lucas Torreira to Arsenal.

The Barcelona and Uruguay striker advised Torreira to leave Sampdoria for the Gunners in July.

His agent Pablo Bentancur, told Uruguay radio station Sport890," The recommendation of Luis Suarez was decisive for Torreira to arrive at Arsenal."

Suarez was of course close to joining Arsenal back in 2013.

Jordan Ayew is in hot water with his manager after refusing to train with the Swansea first team.

Ayew, 26, was the Swans' top scorer as they were relegated from the Premier League last season.

And the striker is now hoping to force a move away from South Wales, with Crystal Palace or Fulham his most likely destinations.

"There's no further news on Jordan - he's just not been here," Swansea manager Graham Potter said.

"That tells you that he's not part of what we're trying to do, by his own actions," Potter told BBC Sport Wales.

Brighton & Hove Albion have secured the services of 20-year-old Billy Arce on a four-year deal.

However, the Ecuadorian will head straight out on loan to La Liga 2 club Extremadura UD for the 2018/19 season.

Albion’s pathway development manager David Weir, said, “We are delighted to sign Billy. He is an exciting young player with very good potential.

"We will monitor his progress over the course of the season during his time with Extremadura UD, and we hope the loan move will enable him to continue his development here in Europe.”

Arch joins Danish striker Anders Dreyer, also 20, to the Seagulls.

Chelsea are weighing up their options as their current number one looks to force through a move to Real Madrid.

Goal understand that the Blues are considering activating Kepa Arrizabalaga’s €80 million (£71m) release clause. Spanish reports claim that Sarri is a keen admirer of the Athletic Bilbao goalkeeper.

A move for the 23-year old would potentially break Chelsea’s transfer record. A record only set last season after Alvaro Morata’s £58 million transfer from Real Madrid.

The Huddersfield Examiner say that Montpellier’s versatile £13.5m forward Isaac Mbenza would tick a lot of boxes for Hudderfield head coach David Wagner.

The 22-year-old, who is being linked with a move to the Terriers, has been capped by Belgium at Under-21 level, and can operate on either wing or up front.

Jerome Boateng has been encouraged to shun a move to Manchester United - by his Bayern Munich team-mates.

The 29-year-old is highly thought of among the squad and left-back David Alaba said the team would "all be sad" if the defender left the club.

Boateng has played for Bayern since his switch from Manchester City in 2011.

Franck Ribery reiterated Alaba's thoughts and said: "I've been playing with Jerome for many years now,"

"I hope he'll stay with us because he's an important player. To me, he's one of the best central defenders in the world."

Celtic have rejected a bid from Fulham for defender Dedryck Boyata, manager Brendan Rodgers has confirmed.

Boyata, who is in the final year of his contract, has not played for Celtic since returning from the World Cup and is not ready for a first team return.

Rodgers says it would be "difficult to sell" Boyata.
