    Sunderland v Sheff Wed (Thursday, 19:45 BST)

    So, Aston Villa, Middlesbrough and Exeter City are among the 34 teams who have booked their places in the second round of the Carabao Cup.

    There is just one tie left to play in the first round, when Sunderland host Sheffield Wednesday on Thursday evening.

    The draw for round two will take place ahead of that clash at the Stadium of Light.

    Former Wolves and Ipswich boss Mick McCarthy and ex-England winger Chris Waddle will be plucking the balls out of the hat just after 19:00 BST.

    Tonight's other late kick-off ends in a relatively straightforward home win for Reading against 2011 winners Birmingham, who are yet to win this term.

    Wycombe keeper Yves Ma-Kalambay saves from Jordan Turnbull.

    Then Egypt international Adam El-Abd steps up to win it for the Chairboys.

    That is Wycombe's first win in this competition since 2011.

    It's all over at the Hawthorns after one of tonight's two late kick-offs. OIiver Burke's slender goal is enough for the Baggies to go through to round two.
