Three and easy for Rangers... But Gerrard wants more
FT: Rangers 3-0 St Johnstone
Three games, three wins, three clean sheets for Rangers. The hosts had 75% possession with a passing accuracy of 90% this evening.
A lot for manager Steven Gerrard to be pleased with but he is not letting any complacency set in, accusing his players of "getting sloppy" after scoring their third goal.
"We let the game die instead of maintaining our standards," he said. There is still a lot to work on. We can’t pick and choose when we want our standards to be good."
Last season, the Ibrox side opened with three wins before a derby defeat to Celtic. This time round, the first Old Firm clash is not until mid-October.

Robinson angry at players after home draw
FT: Motherwell 2-2 Livingston
SNSCopyright: SNS
Motherwell manager Stephen Robinson is not best pleased after more points dropped at home.
"I'm happy with the first point, I'm happy that we defended throws okay, I'm happy we handled the physical aspect of Livingston, but that's probably where my happiness ends," he tells BBC Radio Scotland.
"Some people aren't performing and we're playing with seven men every single week
"I've been patient, I've cajoled people, but they've been told tonight that it is simply not good enough. If they want to play for this football club, they will die for this football club.
"This football club has been very good to people and put careers on track and, if everybody gave me what Allan Campbell has on that pitch, we'd be a lot further up that league."
Kettlewell pleased with 'progressive' approach
FT: Ross County 2-2 Kilmarnock
Ross County manager Stuart Kettlewell: "Responsibility for the goals we lost lies with me, it's trying to be progressive with our play, passing the ball. We're not just putting it into a corner and hoping for the best.
"I was pleased with the response, the way we came back at Kilmarnock and the chances we created. All in all, it was a good, proper game, with both teams fully committed, and it maintains our unbeaten start."
On Kilmarnock's two unsuccessful spot-kick claims, he says the first "certainly doesn't look anything like a penalty to me", while admitting he "didn't get a good look" at the second.
Dyer mystified by penalty decisions
FT: Ross County 2-2 Kilmarnmock
Kilmarnock manager Alex Dyer: "I'm proud of the boys. It was a good performance in the second half. We played 10 yards further up the pitch. We scored two good goals and could have had three or four but we got a point. [On Chris Burke penalty claim] He [Josh Reid] has pulled his shirt. He was through on goal. The second one [from goalbound Kirk Broadfoot header] was definitely handball. They got one with the handball with Burkey when he turned his back. It's a good point but by rights we should have had three points, but it's not to be. The performances have been good in all three games."
'Rangers will know they've been in a battle'
FT: Motherwell 2-2 Livingston
Livingston manager Gary Holt: "I said before the game that we needed to get back to getting in people's faces, do the ugly side of the game, and you'll get your rewards. We got that tonight.
"Rangers come to us on Sunday and they'll know they've been in a battle.
"Tonight it was graft, it was hard work and that's all I ask for. We are a work in progress, but the tenacity and that willingness to help your team-mates out is what we need."
Burke keeps banging them in
FT: Ross County 2-2 Kilmarnock
Chris Burke has scored in all three of Kilmarnock's games this season, having cracked in a terrific free-kick in the opening loss to Hibs and tucked away a penalty in Sunday's draw with Celtic.
The 36-year-old winger has scored at least one goal every one of his 16 campaigns as a first-team pro.
Aberdeen suffer Edmondson injury blow
There appears to be some kind of striker's curse at Pittodrie right now with new loan signing Ryan Edmondson added to an injured list that includes Sam Cosgrove and Curtis Main.
Rangers sit at the top of the Premiership pile this evening, joining Hibs as the only teams on maximum points from the opening three matches.
Hibs are at home to Motherwell on Saturday, while Rangers visit Livingston on Sunday.
Off the mark but frustration will linger

It was a result that gets both sides off the mark in terms of points, but does little to settle the angst among either support at the slow start to the Premiership campaign for their respective teams.
In truth, both sides had enough chances to win this game. Livingston had sustained periods of being on top after scoring, while Motherwell somehow allowed them to come back into this game. Twice.
What else did we learn? That Livingston assistant manager David Martindale is perhaps the least laid back man on the planet. Even if there was a crowd inside Fir Park and a Boeing 747 revving up in Fir Park Street, you'd probably still hear him bellowing at poor Alan Forrest...
FULL-TIME Motherwell 2-2 Livingston
A tumultuous contest ends level, as both teams earn their first respective point of the Scottish Premiership campaign at the third time of asking.
Motherwell twice led through ruthless finishes from David Turnbull and Allan Campbell, but Lyndon Dykes' penalty and a close-range Alan Forrest effort pegged them back.
Livingston were impressive and threatening for long spells of each half, especially down the flanks. But Motherwell too had good opportunities, especially when Sherwin Seedorf beat goalkeeper Robby McCrorie but not the covering Jon Guthrie on the line.
In the end, a draw is probably about right.
FULL-TIME Rangers 3-0 St Johnstone
A second successive 3-0 success at Ibrox takes Rangers to the top of the league on goal difference.
Borna Barisic curled in a cracking free kick before setting up Ryan Kent for the second on the stroke of half time.
Joe Aribo headed in the third in one-sided encounter.

Motherwell 2-2 Livingston
It's end-to-end fare at Fir Park now as play rages from one box to the other. Livingston look the more likely team to bag a late winner, but Motherwell are still having some joy through the hulking Jordan White at the vanguard of their attack.
FULL-TIME Ross County 2-2 Kilmarnock
A cracking contest in the Highlands ends all square.
Ross Draper glanced the home side in front but Killie hit back through two fine goals from Alan Power and Chris Burke.
However, Ross Stewart levelled from the penalty spot after the visitors had two claims of their own turned away.
GREAT SAVE!
Rangers 3-0 St Johnstone
St Johnstone are coming back into the game and only a fine save from Jon McLaughlin prevents them pulling a goal back.
On-loan Millwall striker Isaac Olaofe rises 10 yards out to meet a cross and the substitute's header is parried clear by the goalkeeper.
McLaughlin has been a spectator for long spells but that's two good saves he's made.
