  8. 'We are obviously disappointed'

FT: Trinidad & Tobago 43-43 Scotland

Scotland goalkeeper Hayley Mulheron on BBC Two: "Trinidad and Tobago is a great team and we battled with them right until the end. We are obviously disappointed that we are not fighting off for that 9th/10th spot.

"Sam Wallace is a great player but I think we gave as good as got. We made them put in extra pass is but she is obviously a class player. There are young girls here but we have just played all these teams and for girls as young as that to experience these games, it will only help them going forward it."

  9. 'It feels like a defeat'

FT: Trinidad & Tobago 43-43 Scotland

More from Scotland coach Gail Parata on BBC Two: "We had opportunities in the match, it’s great to get a draw but I would rather fight that out to the end and extra time if possible. I am proud of them but we are going to have to start winning matches now not just developing more.

"We are pushing in the top seven in the rankings so to that you have to win matches, especially like matches today. I am disappointed that we are playing for 11th/12th but we had to do it early today and we knew they would take us all the way. Even though it’s a draw, it feels like a defeat."

Scotland coach Gail Parata on BBC Two: "It does feel like a defeat. I am really disappointed – not in my girls but some questionable umpiring that I thought. Our young shooter was getting wrapped up with arms around her and she is getting pulled for a contact, I am really, really annoyed about that.

  19. FT: IT'S A DRAW

FT: Trinidad & Tobago 43-43 Scotland

Ok, so my fingers are actually smoking after the drama of those last few minutes.

A draw is ultimately a fair result with neither side at their best but it was a brilliant contest.
