Jack Lukeman guests

Jools often uncovers unknown talent, and in this series he'll be introducing some of his new friends to a wider audience, starting tonight with the velvet voiced Jack Lukeman.

As he gigs up and down the country and abroad, Jools often uncovers unknown talent, and in this series he'll be introducing some of his new friends to a wider audience.

That starts tonight with the Radio 2 debut of the amazing Irish singer Jack Lukeman!

A native of Athy Co. Kildare Ireland, Jack Lukeman left school at 15, and after spending a short period in the family business he began playing music full-time at 18 cutting his teeth on the busking scene around Europe.

Lukeman has also performed over the years supporting or alongside U2, Ronnie Wood, Robert Plant and Jimmy Page, John Lee Hooker, Elvis Costello, and Marianne Faithfull, and has appeared at venues such as Olympia Paris, Royal Albert Hall in London, and The Lincoln Center in NYC.
