On call with Italy's horseback doctor

Dr Roberto Anfosso is an Italian doctor who makes his home visits on the back of his horse, Ambra.

If you call on Roberto, expect him to arrive with the stethoscope in his saddlebag.

We joined him on one of his rounds near the village of La Morra.
