  1. Post update

Job done for the night. Things are shaping up nicely.

Wales are back in action tomorrow as they take on big hitters Italy at 17:00 BST. Switzerland are up against Turkey at the same time.

Here's the match report from that draw between Spain and Poland.

Don't forget to check out the Euros Daily Podcast here.

    See you tomorrow!

  2. Post update

    Hungary 1-1 France

The biggest shock result in the Euros so far?

Hungary held world champions France to a draw earlier today.

  3. 'Mesmerising contenders'

    Portugal 2-4 Germany

No goalscorer. The wrong system. Players played out of position and a manager who has lost his touch - Germany were roundly written off after their opening Euro 2020 defeat by France.

But the Germans hit back in style to hit four goals past the defending champions and put their route to the last 16 back in their own hands.

    More here.

  4. 'Morata will not sleep tonight'

    FT: Spain 1-1 Poland

    Jurgen Klinsmann

Former Germany head coach on BBC One

There was a little bit of a panic at the end for Spain. There was a scramble but there were not enough ideas from them.

They were not decisive enough and that is the way Gerard Moreno hit the penalty, he was not convinced in himself.

A lot is down to confidence and consistency, Alvaro Morata gets the chances, he is in the right place at the right time, he has a good nose, but he lacks in the finishing.

For the penalty, he anticipates it, he gets there but did not place it in the right way. He needed to open up and be totally confident. 'If the ball falls to me, I will put it in'.

If there is a little doubt, you will fail. He probably will not sleep tonight after that miss, he should have scored the goal.

    FT: Spain 1-1 Poland

Jordi Alba picks up the Man of the Match award.

  6. 'Worst Spain midfield I can remember'

    FT: Spain 1-1 Poland

    Guillem Balague

Spanish football journalist on BBC Radio 5 Live

That is what we have got, a team that gets a lot of possession but does not do a lot with it, we cannot counter attack because that is not how we are built.

It is the worst midfield I remember in Spain, when they had the ball they didn't have an eye for a pass, didn't help with penetration and didn't get into the box. It was only when Fabian came on there was more intent.

We haven't created much. We are not even very good at penalties at the moment. If we beat Slovakia we are probably top of the group and all this will be forgotten, but it is conformation we are not that good.

Expectations are very low - give us England, if we knock England out it's tournament on. I still think Spain can win the tournament.

    Contrasting emotions at full-time.

  8. 'Every team can qualify'

    FT: Spain 1-1 Poland

    Rio Ferdinand

Former England defender on BBC One

Every team in that group can qualify still, there's still something to play for. You saw the Polish fans at the end of that game celebrating because they know they've given themselves an opportunity now. If they win, they go through.

For Spain, the words I wrote down were passive, no risks, safe, no spark. Those were the things you saw from the Spanish. Playing at home, that's almost illegal to have those words put against your side but that's how they played today.

  9. Post update

    FT: Spain 1-1 Poland

Make sure you go and rate the players. Only a few minutes left to do it.

    Just head over here.

  10. Lion, leader, Lewandowski

    FT: Spain 1-1 Poland

    Jurgen Klinsmann

Former Germany head coach on BBC One

Spain is a team in transition and Slovakia will be watching thinking they can survive the next game and get at least a draw. The respect Spain had over 20 years is fading a little.

Robert Lewandowski knows when things are developing, he was sniffing for the goal. He gave a little push to Aymeric Laporte, not enough for a foul, just physicality and strength and he scored one goal with his two chances.

He is a lion, a leader.

  11. Lewandowski to inspire Poland to last 16?

    FT: Spain 1-1 Poland

    Rio Ferdinand

Former England defender on BBC One

I wouldn't bet against Lewandowski. This is a chance for him to really stamp himself in a tournament and I think that's something that's not on his CV at the moment. With him as the inspiration, I'll go with Poland to go through.

    .
  12. As it stands...

    FT: Spain 1-1 Poland

Here's how the table is looking.

Spain play Slovakia in their final group game on Wednesday (17:00 BST) while Poland take on Sweden at the same time.

    .
  13. 'Spain are missing a striker'

    FT: Spain 1-1 Poland

    Micah Richards

Former England defender on BBC One

This Spanish team have still got very good players. Thiago didn't even play today. I mentioned Pedri before the game, he's an outstanding talent. I just think they're lacking that little bit of cutting edge up front. I don't think it's as bad as people are saying like there are no major stars, they are just missing that striker who can just finish off them chances.

  14. Spain lack fear factor

    FT: Spain 1-1 Poland

    Jurgen Klinsmann

Former Germany head coach on BBC One

Football is still a physical game, Carles Puyol, Sergio Busquets or Sergio Ramos give you fear, it will be a battlefield. This Spain team is full of technical talent, they know how to read the space and when to play but there is no fear anymore.

When opponents come onto the field and don't see a Puyol or Ramos in the warm-up, you think you know what, we have a chance.

  15. Post update

    FT: Spain 1-1 Poland

Here's the goals again. One each for Alvaro Morata and Robert Lewandowski.

  16. 'I'm delighted for Lewandowski'

    FT: Spain 1-1 Poland

    Rio Ferdinand

Former England defender on BBC One

Credit to Poland. I thought the Spanish team would come out and try to dominate possession like the teams of the past but this isn't a team of the past. Lewandowski so delighted for him to get off the mark and get that goal. He got the opportunity here and put it away beautifully.

  17. 'Not the Spain we're used to'

    FT: Spain 1-1 Poland

    Jurgen Klinsmann

Former Germany head coach on BBC One

I am very pleased for Robert Lewandowski and he scored a beautiful header. The pressure on him is insane, the whole nation have their hopes on him.

It was very physical in the second half and they intimidated Spain, they looked soft, not determined enough.

We are not seeing the Spain we are used to, they is physicality or leadership, like a Carles Puyol, Andres Iniesta, Xavi, when things went wrong they stepped it up.

Now when it goes wrong, they are looking at each other and pushing away the responsibility - like the penalty.

  18. 'Spain still have the quality to do something'

    Spain 1-1 Poland

    Micah Richards

Former England defender on BBC One

Spain are under the cosh. I still think they have got the quality to do something but it's just everything is too laboured, too slow, there's no key passes. Spain probably deserved to win the match in terms of chances, but you've got to take the chances. That's the difference between top level and world class and unfortunately Morata didn't punish them when he had his chances.

  19. Post update

    FT: Spain 1-1 Poland

Spain have opened a Euros tournament with no wins from their opening two matches for the first time since 1996.

    .
  20. 'Feels like a win for Poland'

    FT: Spain 1-1 Poland

    Rob Green

Former England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

It was a breathless match. There was so much going on, the Polish team are in a huddle in the centre circle and know how big a point this is. They are pointing to each other saying "this is our moment". This will feel like a win. I think they have deserved it. They are now in front of their fans like they have won the tournament themselves.
