  1. 'Am I in a blissful dream?'

Andy in Dreamland: I've sent many texts to this page over the years but not one with the massive grin I have on my face right now. England are fire!

Kris, sitting comfortably in Lancashire: The edge of my seat has never been happier during an England game. I think it's also a bit confused.

Gareth: Is this really happening or am I just in a blissful dream?

Clive Buckenham: England doing what good teams should do. They’re making a weak team look weak. I’m used to England making weak teams look like Brazil!

John in Lincolnshire: I was at Wembley in '66 when England beat Argentina in the quarter-final. Tonight I've seen them play as well as they have in many a year.

Danny Boy: Has to be one of our best performances at a knockout phase for a very very long time!

Malc: It's not only come home, it's parked the car in the garage!

  2. Post update

    So there you have it.

England are in the semi-finals of Euro 2020. Wembley awaits on Wednesday, with 60,000 fans in the "Lions Den" cheering them on.

Football fever is truly here. Enjoy this and go again on Wednesday.

We'll be there with you all the way. Hopefully there's a few drinks left in the fridge with my name on...

I'm going to leave you with your own thoughts. Well, the best of them anyway. It's been a pleasure. Until next time!

  3. 'We want to go two steps further'

England are not settling for a semi-final spot, says Gareth Southgate.

The 4-0 win in Rome means England have matched their run to the 2018 World Cup semi-finals in Russia and their showing in the Nations League in 2019.

"It's fabulous," Southgate told BBC Sport. "I suppose it's still sinking in that it's another semi-final - three in three years.

"We want to go two steps further."

    More reaction from Southgate here.

    FT: Ukraine 0-4 England

Harry Maguire just loves the big stage.

He's scored four goals for England. Two of those have come in major tournaments.

He also netted against Sweden at the World Cup in 2018.

  9. Post update

    FT: Ukraine 0-4 England

Harry Kane picked up the Euro 2020 Star of the Match by the way.

Personally, I'd have given it to Luke Shaw. But I certainly won't begrudge the skipper getting a cheeky trophy when he's bagged two goals in a Euro quarter-final!

He'll be chasing a bigger trophy though...

  10. 'We have a vision - winning major tournaments'

    FT: Ukraine 0-4 England

    England

More from England captain Harry Kane in his press conference: "There are a few of us in this team who played in that [World Cup] semi-final [against Croatia] and we know how much that hurt not to get to the final and to go all the way.

"It has been a great tournament so far. We’ve ticked off the boxes as we’ve gone along but the bottom line is we have a vision of where we want to be and that’s winning major tournaments."

Anyone else still taking it all in?

    Here's the highlights.

  13. 'We are a great team'

    FT: Ukraine 0-4 England

    Ukraine

More from Andriy Yarmolenko: "I believe England's victory tonight was well-deserved. My congratulations to them; I wish them luck in their upcoming games.

"I think we were disorientated by the early goal: we had a strategy, we had tactics for the game, but when you concede a goal in the third minute, things snowball and you have to regroup."

"We are a great team with a great group of people. Nothing can break us. We know what helps us with our game, and we know how we can play. Despite the result, despite losing 4-0 today, I am proud to be part of this team.

"I think it's a great achievement for our team to get to this stage. And I would like to congratulate our fans for this."

  14. 'Look at who we lost to'

    FT: Ukraine 0-4 England

    Ukraine

Ukraine captain Andriy Yarmolenko: "We did well. Of course, in some games, we could've played better. But in general, I am satisfied with the result.

"At this tournament, we've out-lasted teams like Germany and Portugal. So, I just want to congratulate our fans on this.

"Yes, today we lost, but we should look at who we have lost to. In my opinion, we have lost to one of the best teams in the world."

  15. 'Eriksen should be here'

    FT: Ukraine 0-4 England

Denmark's emotional Euro 2020 campaign continued as they marched on to the semi-finals courtesy of a victory over the Czech Republic in Baku earlier.

After the game, Denmark coach Kasper Hjulmand said he felt his squad will have Eriksen in their thoughts when they take on England.

"I definitely feel it," he said.

"The whole world of football understood that second, and the days after, the fundamental things in life and in football, the fundamental values of football came through right at that moment.

"I am still thinking of Christian every single day. He should have been here."

    Read more on that here.

  16. 'They play with energy to the end'

    FT: Ukraine 0-4 England

    Alan Shearer

Former England striker on BBC One

When you consider the amount of football some of these players have played over a long season they had, to still have this energy and attitude they had [towards the end of the game].. they are still in tune and still trying to press and win that ball back. It is such a positive for England.

  17. Post update

We've got reaction going up left, right and centre across the website. If you missed Harry Maguire's interview on BBC One earlier, he said England are not settling for a semi-final spot.

Read more from goal-machine Harry here.

  18. Post update

Harry Maguire you say? Well that's an excuse to see his goal again.

A gift wrapped in gold from Luke Shaw.
