What happens in the Live Lesson?

Presented by archaeologist Raksha Dave and history enthusiast Ben Shires from Vindolanda in Northumberland. In the Romans Live Lesson, your class will become history detectives and follow clues to uncover the identities of people who once lived at this famous Roman fort.

During the programme, children will learn about the work of archaeologists and examine evidence of individuals they might not expect to have lived there.

The Live Lesson features a new collection of animated classroom videos exploring the Roman Empire, with a focus on the Roman invasion and settlement of Britain.
