Scotland’s Greatest Escape is a BBC Scotland series, set to take viewers on a journey to the very best holiday escapes that Scotland has to offer.
We’ll be celebrating the places that go above and beyond to bring their guests an outstanding experience. And we need your help to find the best of the best.
We’re asking you to nominate your favourite Scottish escape, whether it’s an incredible coastal caravan park, a breath-taking highland cottage, or a sensational city B&B.
If you’ve stayed somewhere great and feel they deserve to be crowned Scotland’s Greatest Escape, nominate them now on the following pages.
Or perhaps you own or work at a top tourist escape that deserves recognition. If so, let us know, and nominate yourself for the award.
Whether you’ve been a guest at, or run a fantastic Scottish escape, we want to hear from you.
We’re looking for exceptionality, not luxury, so we don’t need to know how much you paid, just that you had a great time there.
A few things to note before you make your nomination…
If you’re nominating your favourite escape:
- You must have stayed there within the last five years (we need to know your experience was fairly recent)
- The place you are nominating must be based in Scotland and have bookable accommodation for an overnight stay
If you’re self-nominating:
- Your business must be based in Scotland and have bookable accommodation for an overnight stay
You have until 11:59pm on Sunday 2 July to make your nomination. Following your nomination, all nominees will be asked to complete a short application form, which we kindly ask to be submitted no later than 11:59pm on Sunday 16 July.
