A woman from Caistor who found out she was wrongly given four rounds of chemotherapy, has told me she discovered the mistake when she researched her symptoms online.
The Hull and East Yorkshire Hospital's NHS Trust has admitted offering Jodi Huggett chemotherapy after treatment for a low grade form of bowel cancer breached the hospital's duty of trust.
A spokesman for Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust says: "The Trust has admitted breaching its duty of care towards Mrs Huggett for suggesting a form of treatment which was inappropriate in her particular circumstances.
For this, we would like to offer Mrs Huggett our sincere apologies, and we can confirm that an out of court settlement has now been agreed."

I've seen improvements straight away... I've just suddenly got my balance. I can stand up and have a conversation with people and just stand there."
The treatment Lance is undergoing, HSCT, is in a trial phase here in the UK, but there is caution about whether it will help more than just a handful of patients with MS.
The MS Society say they are looking forward to seeing the results of the trials because it does hold a lot of promise, but say at the moment the treatment does also carry a lot of risk.
