The Radio 1 DJ was kindly reminded by the good people at 5 live of the hilarious first time, two decades ago, that he read out his rather lengthy new website address on air.
"I hope you're writing this down!"
We also hope Pete's computer skills have improved since then, as we hear t'internet is going to be huge.
Published in the always readable Logopedics Phoniatrics Vocology journal, the study analysed Freddie singing a capella as well as isolated vocal tracks from his back catalogue to find the the range he was able to hold a note at.

More now on the temporary closure of Scottish festival T in the Park "due to the presence of an unregistered, but protected in law, osprey's nest."
The festival was originally held in 1994 at Strathclyde Park in Lanarkshire but moved to Balado airfield in Kinross from 1997-2014, before moving again to Strathallan Castle in Perthshire the following year.
In a statement to "the best audience in the world", the festival organisers said the current problems can be traced back to the move: "Against our will, and despite a prolonged fight, we were forced to move from Balado, Kinross in 2015.
"This move was a mammoth task for the event and one that was compounded by a series of onerous site restrictions placed upon us as preparations for the event in 2015 took place.
Quote Message: As the build up to the festival was well underway we were informed by Scottish Government Ministers that we would have to apply for full Planning Permission due to the presence of an unregistered, but protected in law, osprey's nest. The constraints – logistically and financially - that the resulting planning conditions put upon us are simply not workable."

Radio 2's Ken Bruce will present a special night of Symphonic Rock by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall in London this evening.
Rock and pop anthems from the likes of Adele, The Beatles and Queen will be given the classical treatment for the night which will include a special tribute to the late, great David Bowie.

Iconic Scottish music festival T In The Park has been cancelled next year due "to the presence of an unregistered, but protected in law, osprey's nest."
The festival, which has been going for the last 23 years and was last year headlined by The Stone Roses, Calvin Harris and Red Hot Chilli Peppers, will now no longer take place in 2017.

He's best known for his iconic cover design of The Beatles' seminal psychedelic album Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, but Sir Peter Blake has made the shocking admission that he actually prefers the Fab Four's 60's chart rivals The Beach Boys.
The pop art pioneer revealed to the Press Association that he is most proud of the prints he created for Brian Wilson's 2009 record That Lucky Old Sun.
Blake said: "I always wanted to do an album cover for Brian Wilson, and I did.

There will be two special programmes for Christmas and New Year’s Eve.
The Christmas special will include performances from the likes of Clean Bandit featuring Anne Marie, DNCE, Olly Murs, Skepta, Zara Larsson, James Arthur and Craig David and Louisa Johnson.
The two shows will be co-hosted by Fearne Cotton and Reggie Yates.

Rod Stewart: the lion will roar again... by the end of the month

Reasons to be cheerful part 1 - earlier this week we told you about Rod Stewart having to cancel his show at the O2 in London due to a throat infection.
He tweeted: "Got bloody bad luck & strep throat.... Sorry for all the inconvenience guys. Gutted. Sir Rod xxx"
Now he has announced rescheduled dates - tomorrow, Friday 25 November will move to Sunday 26 February 2017.
Saturday 26 November has been moved to Monday 27 February. Tickets for the cancelled shows will still be valid at the new dates but if ticket holders can't make the dates then they are being offered full refunds.
After some days rest, Rod is expected to resume his current UK tour in Sheffield Arena on 29 November in full health.
Sir Cliff Richard back with new Christmas single

Now we hate to bring you Christmas single news in November, we really do, but we'll have to make an exception for a night of the realm.
The 76-year-old will release new single It's Better To Dream tomorrow but if you can't wait until then, the track already appears on his latest album Just... Fabulous Rock 'n' Roll.
He'll be hoping to add to his two Christmas number ones as a solo artist, namely 1988's Mistletoe And Wine and Saviour's Day from 1990.
He also topped the festive charts with the Shadows in 1960 with the track I Love you and as part of Band Aid II with Do They Know It's Christmas? in 1989.

While we're on the subject...Christmas number one winners from 2011, Gareth Malone and Military Wives Choir, will go head to head against each other the year.
As a team they beat Little MIx to the top of the Christmas tree five years ago.
Now, choirmaster Malone is going solo by layered his own voice to make his own choir on the track Only You, while the Wives will carry on regardless releasing Home for Christmas.

Earlier we told you about Lady Gaga (scroll down) voicing her support for Kanye West, but she is not alone in offering her support to the rap star.
In an Instagram post, rapper Pusha T, marking the anniversary of Kanye's album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy - on which he collaborated with him, said:
"You were setting me up to be the solo artist I never saw myself as. So on the 6th anniversary of MBDTF and as the President of your label G.O.O.D. music I wanna say thanx for the endless opportunities you have brought to me."
Meanwhile, Kanye's friend John Legend told CBS This Morning on Tuesday that he had seen warning signs in Kanye's behaviour.
"I was concerned by what I saw, so hopefully he’s getting some rest and some time to figure things out."

The club raised more than £300,000 for its legal defence which according to a new statement on Fabric's Facebook page "will be used to help other worthy causes within the industry".
Also, if you were one of the 7,000 people who made a donation to the campaign, you could soon be a permanent feature in the club.
The statement continues: "If you donated, keep an eye on your inbox as we will very shortly be inviting you to cement your part in fabric’s history and be part of a piece of artwork we are creating to install in the club."
Kings of Leon confirmed to play headline slot at Hyde Park

Stadium rockers Kings of Leon have joined the lineup for next year's British Summer Time Hyde Park .
The band, whose latest album WALLS topped the chart on both sides of the Atlantic, will play on 6 July and will be, pretty ably supported we have to say, by alt-giants Pixies.
In a no-way paraphrased statement, Kings Of Leon’s Nathan said: “It’s always a pleasure to party with our amazing fans at Hyde Park.”
Also playing on the bill are Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats.
Previously announced headliners of the annual event are Green Day and Phil Collins.

Twenty-five years without Freddie Mercury
Today marks 25 years to the day since the death of Queen singer Freddie Mercury at the age of just 45, from an Aids related illness.
A new study, reported in the BBC's Science Focus magazine, has attempted to discover why Freddie had a voice described as “a force of nature with the velocity of a hurricane.”

Foo Fighter Taylor Hawkins releases new 80s style solo video
Now we all know him best from banging away behind the drum kit in Foo Fighters, but now Taylor Hawkins has decided to stand up and walk tall alone.
He's released a new video for the single Ranger Rover B and a cheesy one at that.
See for yourself if this very 1980s production is deliberately and knowingly naff. Or just naff.
Taylor plays pretty much all of the instruments on the track. We think he should perhaps learn to delegate more like they did in the Foos.

Welsh Music Prize winner to be revealed
The winner of the Welsh Music Prize will be unveiled in Cardiff later.
A shortlist of 12 albums ranges from folk to metal, alternative Welsh language to pop.
John Rostron, founder of the Welsh Music Prize with BBC Radio 1 DJ Huw Stephens, said: "It's a really interesting mix."
Previous winners include Super Furry Animals and singer Gruff Rhys again solo.

Paul Heaton on 'peaceful' hometown UK City of Culture Hull

As we know former Beautiful South pair Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott are to stage a stadium concert as part of Hull's City of Culture celebrations.
Now Paul, from Hull, has been chatting to 6 Music's Elizabeth Alker about his love and affection for his "under-rated" and "peaceful" hometown.
He also said sorting the guest-list for his friends and family will be a real headache.

The future of the London club Fabric looks secure, a least for now, and now the venue's owners have revealed what donations to the #saveourculture campaign will be spent on.
