There's just time to look back at the day - here are five things we've found out since we started this morning:
The Conservatives now have 58 councillors, giving them an overall majority and control of Lincolnshire County Council
Labour has secured six councillors while the Liberal Democrats have a solitary representative.
Independent candidates secured a total of five places with one of those going Lincolnshire Independents.
In other news......Emergency services have been dealing with a large fire at commercial premises in Pinchbeck near Spalding.

Potential cuts at local schools
Corazon Garcia
BBC Radio Lincolnshire
Unions say an academy trust which runs 8 schools in Lincolnshire hasn't properly thought through the impact of potential job cuts.
It's claimed the David Ross Education Trust is proposing to cut nearly £1m from school budgets - including up to 40 jobs from across its 32 primary and secondary schools.
The trust disputes the figures and says financial pressures mean they're looking at the best way to use their administration staff.
