The end of another big Premier League Sunday.

Catch yourselves up with the match reports here and we'll see you all soon!

  2. 'Arteta shows that if you work hard age does not matter'

    FT: Arsenal 3-2 Everton

    Arsenal

Arsenal's Eddie Nketiah speaking to BBC Sport: "It was a very entertaining game. We probably did not want it as open as it was. I think we did well to defend. It was interesting for the fans to watch. We are just happy that we ground out the win and get the three points. Games are coming thick and fast be we are recovering well and we all want to give it our all when we step on the pitch. The mentality is there to see on the pitch. I am happy to be a threat on the pitch, hopefully I can get more goals. The team want to continue to win."

On two under-21s creating Arsenal’s first goal: "It makes us very happy and proud. We are all working really hard. We have a good understanding, I have been working with Saka for some time and I knew he was just going to whip it in so I just had to run and get on the end of it."

On Arteta: "He is great. He is showing us that if you work hard in training it does not matter how old you are, he will give yoy the chance. It’s about working hard each day and improving each game."

  3. 'Calvert-Lewin needs to focus hard if he wants to be a top striker'

    FT: Arsenal 3-2 Everton

    Everton

    Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Everton manager Carlo Ancelloti speaking to BBC Match of the Day: “There was a good performance in front. We were good coming from the back, we had some good chances. Defensively, we were terrible. We have improve. There were three goals we could have avoided. It was too easy for Arsenal to score three goals.

“We had a lot of opportunities at the end of the game to equalise and we did not get it. We are working, we believe in what we are doing. Today was a step down. We need to refocus. We need to re-balance. We did one part good but we did one part bad.”

On the early Arsenal goal in the second half: “At half-time we focused on the defensive and then after one minute the players did not listen to me. We then went on to try and attack.”

On Dominic Calvert-Lewin: "He is doing well but he is not enough. If he wants to be a top striker, he has to work more hard, focus hard, work more. He is doing well but he has to have the game to be focused all the time."

  4. 'This is the only way to compete at the highest level'

    Arsenal 3-2 Everton

    Arsenal

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta speaking to Match of the Day: "The game was difficult right from the start after conceding in the first minute. For 60 to 65 minutes we were really dominant

    "Physically it was demanding.

"I was very pleased with Bukayo Saka's assist, but he needs to improve in aspects of the game. He needs to know areas he needs to play in the pitch.

"The players kept going. They are now enjoying working together. All the front players - the way they worked together was tremendous.

"I tried to convince the players that this is the only way to compete at the highest level. The atmosphere is really good.

"Aubameyang has been really good again - goals, positioning... and also his defensive display."

  5. 'It's my best week since I've been here'

    Arsenal 3-2 Everton

    Arsenal

    Mikel Arteta

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta speaking to Sky Sports: "The best thing is the spirit we showed after coming back from Europe - three games in seven days. And coming back after we went behind. The resilience they showed after they were absolutely shattered.

"Sead Kolasinac had a shoulder problem. Everybody was cramping. We could only change two players. We had to defend very, very deep.

"Leno was really good. In the right moment he saved us."

On Aubameyang's defending: "It was an incredible amount of work Aubameyang was doing. Before I took over I had my questions about him but he showed his commitment. I wanted him to show if he wanted to do it and do it physically.

"Aubameyang is our most important player, no doubt the impact he has in this team. We will have to convince him to stay with us.

"Winning three games in seven games. Sure it is my best week."

  6. 'Defensively we were really poor'

    Arsenal 3-2 Everton

    Everton

    Aubameyang goal

Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti speaking to Sky Sports:

"It was a good performance - a lot of opportunities. Defensively really poor. Conceding three goals like this, normally you lose the game.

"We were able to equalise at the end of the first half. We knew they played Thursday and they could lose energy at the end, but we were 3-2 down. The key points is we conceded three goals too easily.

"In the first half we played really well. When Andre Gomes came in the team improved a lot. Offensively we were really good but defensively no.

"I've seen Andre Gomes in training - he trained without problem. He will start the next game.

"We are going in the right direction but you have to learn. The fact we were not focused defensively we go home without points."

Wijsheid: Good job and great game from Everton. But they will need a miracle to survive their next run of games. Man Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool.

this_guy_njage: Without Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the team, Arsenal would be deep in the relegation battle. He has been phenomenal.

  10. 'I am delighted to be back'

    FT: Arsenal 3-2 Everton

    Everton

    Andre Gomes

Everton's Andre Gomes: "Obviously it is sad [result]. I think we played a good game, obviously we conceded a few chances for Arsenal but we need to look forward to the next games. We have three tough games coming. We had a lot of chances in the last 20 minutes with more people up front. It’s hard to take. It’s very important for the team that we have scored the goals we just need to concede less."

On coming back from injury: "I am delighted to be back on the pitch. It feels really good. It was not the result I wanted on my game back but I am happy to be an extra player. I need to thank everybody.

"The team, my supporters and general football supporters and players and ex-players have been wonderful with me. It gives you confidence and you feel like you have the support of the people. It pushed me to my limit and I wanted to be back as soon as possible."

  11. 'It was hard to find the energy'

    Arsenal 3-2 Everton

    Arsenal

    Aubameyang

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang speaking to Sky Sports: "It was a tough week. It was hard today to find some energy at the end of the week (after the Europa League win). Everybody is doing well and giving 100% to win the game.

"It's always happy to have Bernd Leno - he saved a couple of times at the right moment. We are proud of him and can count on him.

"For my first goal it was a great ball from David Luiz. I just ran through the defence and was one on one."

On closing in on 50 Premier League goals for Arsenal: "I'm always happy to score goals."

Leno: "You could see how our power was at the end. We were fighting. Everyone was happy after this game because we deserved this after the tough week."

  12. The wait goes on

    Arsenal 3-2 Everton

    Jordan Pickford

Naim Raham: That win was down to our 3 best players this season, Saka, Auba and Leno. It's too much for my heart. We need to finish off these games easier for the sake of my health.

  14. Etch a postcard

    Arsenal 3-2 Everton

    Pirre-Emerick Aubameyang

  16. Post update

Five shots for DCL tonight, three of them were on target. His header at the end was a bad miss and he was close to reaching a few beautiful crosses from Richarlison.

Yusuf: For the first time in a long time, I’m really enjoying watching Arsenal . Boys are full of passion, hard work and really playing for the shirt. Thank you Arteta . Long may it continue.

Sho: Calvert-Lewin misses too many clear chances to be considered a top striker. Should've had a hattrick today. Don't know how Everton lost this.

  18. Post update

Jordan Pickford tries to give his gloves to a child in the crowd and inadvertently nearly starts a fight, stewards have to separate a few people who I think were fighting over them. Poor form.

  19. 'Arsenal stuck to their plan'

    FT: Arsenal 3-2 Everton

    Matt Upson

Former England and West Ham defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

It's a brilliant result for Arsenal after such a shaky start. Hats off to them for getting back into the game. They stuck to their plan.

You can tell they are being coached to play a certain way. They have a real foundation and they were just about strong enough to see it through today.
