Now we've seen him mingling with his mega-famous musical mates on The Late Late Show and cruising around town with them in Carpool Karaoke... but now British actor and comedian James Corden is set to host US music's great and good at The Grammys.
The 59th annual music awards take place at the Staples Center in LA next February and the Gavin and Stacey star seems suitably chuffed to be taking over from LL Cool J as the master of ceremonies.
He said: "I am truly honoured to be hosting the Grammys next year.

Kesha is to be honoured with a Women in Music Trailblazer award by Billboard at its 11th annual event in New York on 9 December.
She follows in the footsteps of artists like Madonna, Shania Twain and Halsey.
"By combining artistic fearlessness with unbounded creative energy," said spokeswoman Janice Min, "Kesha has continually pushed the limits of what was once thought possible in pop music."
She called her a "force on stage, an inspiration in person and a true trailblazer."
The singer, who has not released any new music in more than three years during a lengthy legal dispute with her label Sony and former producer Dr Luke, could be about to share some new material.
In a statement to Buzzfeed last month, Sony Music said: "Creating a new album takes time, and everyone’s goal is to deliver a high quality album consistent with Kesha’s past releases.
"We hope to share exciting new music with Kesha’s fans soon."

Singer-songwriter Laura Mvula is to compose a new score for a Royal Shakespeare production of Antony & Cleopatra.
Twice Mercury-nominated Laura studied composition at the Birmingham Conservatoire and this will be the first time she has composed for a professional theatre production.
The production, directed by Iqbal Khan, will run from 11 March – 7 September.
Bruce O’Neil, the RSC's Head of Music said: "Shakespeare’s plays are full of music, and its importance as part of the theatrical experience in Stratford is reflected in a fine tradition of composing talent that goes back to the opening of the Shakespeare Memorial Theatre in 1879."
Ah yes, 1879, the year Engelbert Humperdinck became the first winner of the Mendelssohn Award.
The singer-songwriter is heard lamenting that he "doesn't want to end up like Kolly Kibber" in the new track, which is most likely named after the character from Graham Greene's Brighton Rock.
The 37-year-old has previously described the novel as one of his all-time favourite books.
He'll also perform an acoustic set at London’s Rough Trade East on 5 December, three days after the release of his forthcoming second solo album, Hamburg Demonstrations.
Could this be Pete's most-mature record yet? Or just a (Baby) shambles. Stay tuned.
